Darel Hall

Darel is the General Manager of UC Accommodation which looks after 1,500 students in residence at the University of Canterbury.  Darel has been heavily involved in the successful campaign to stop the 24% Council rents increases and led the charge against cuts to community organisation funding. Darel has been an educator for over 20 years and has a particular focus on tertiary education policy. In his spare time he teaches martial arts, gardens and pursues causes that ensure a fair go for all. Darel has recently become the proud father to identical twin baby girls.
