Press Release Christchurch 2021 continues to select competent candidates for Christchurch City
Mike Mora and Tony Milne have been selected for the Christchurch 2021 Council team in the Riccarton/Wigram ward.
They bring a balance of experience and new thinking to the city.
"Mr Mike Mora is an experienced Community Board Member and well known local figure throughout the ward. For many years he has worked hard for the people in the Riccarton/Wigram ward and understands the issues affecting the ratepayers" Carl Pascoe said.
"Mr Tony Milne has extensive experience in a variety of voluntary, community and political activities across Christchurch. His particular area of interest is in ensuring effective representation for the rate payers in the ward by making it easy for them to have their views heard. Tony Milne will inject energy, fresh thinking, and critical analysis onto the Council", Carl Pascoe said.
The very large turnout at this selection meeting demonstrates public appetite for change in this years local government election. Tony and Mike are delighted to be part of a team led by our highly competent Mayoral Candidate, Dr Megan Woods.
