With 27yrs of living in the Hagley/Ferrymead Ward behind me I have come to understand many of the problems we face each day. When elected to the Hagley/Ferrymead Community Board, I will have greater ability to define and deal with all our community's issues.
I have over 15 years of experience on different community organisations, involving policy making, budgeting, fundraising and supporting people in our community.
I am actively involved on the sporting front as vice president of Cashmere Netball and on the Full Executive for Christchurch Netball. I have also recently been appointed to the Canterbury Sports Foundation, and am an active member of the Akaroa Trotting Club and official Timekeeper for Motukarara Trotting Club. I'm an 11-year veteran volunteer for Te Ropu Tamariki ASP teaching life skills to children in schools within the ward.
I have the full support of my family in all that I do in the community. To achieve even more, I also seek yours. As part of a team working together towards the 2021 Vision, I know we can achieve many things for our community.
