I am standing to be a City Councillor with Christchurch 2021 because
people are hungry for new direction and fresh leadership - fresh
faces and ideas to tackle major challenges facing our city.
Challenges such as:
Increasing congestion
Substantial rate increases without an increase in quality
of services
A growing sense that Christchurch isn't safe
A lack of safe places for young people
Increased cost of living for our limited-income older people
I will use the networks and skills gained from working in the
public service, in the youth health sector and my extensive governance
