My experience of working with diverse communities throughout
the South Island as Director of the Southern Regional Arts Council,
a past member of the Arts Board of Creative New Zealand and the
inaugural Chairman of the Bromley Residents Assn. has given me
the confidence to stand for the Burwood/Pegasus Community Board.
Currently, I am Chairman of the Christchurch East Labour Electorate
Committee, a member of Lianne Dalziel’s Campaign Committee,
Chairman of the Canterbury DHB’s Arts for Health Trust and
Administrator of the Christchurch City Choir.
I will represent the people of the Burwood / Pegasus Ward, with
total commitment.
I will work to ensure that the process for public consultation
is open and inclusive and the Community Board is guided in its
deliberations by the wishes of its residents.
I will support all initiatives that protect our environment and
heritage, and I encourage people to contact me with their concerns.
