It’s time Council did more listening. We need a Council
that people support, with public institutions we respect. People
need to be better involved in making decisions.
The next Council will make tough decisions. We’ll need
to listen better than ever to make the best decisions.
We have a great city but we need to keep moving to keep it great.
We want Christchurch to be vibrant, beautiful and safe.
We need traffic that moves on safer streets.
Rates are now going up at two to three times inflation. Wages
and benefits aren’t. The next Council can’t keep taking
more of your money.
My wife and I are starting our family. I got a great start in
Christchurch. I want that for our children.
Forging a better future for our city is a great honour and a
challenge that I would love to take up.
